‘Unfortunate’ – Rick Ross touches on whether he’s open to reconciling with Drake

Rick Ross recently touched on his beef with Drake and whether he’s open to reconciling with his former collaborator.

Per Complex, Ross, 50, touched on the topic on the latest episode of Thoughts In A Culli after he was asked if he’s open to working with Drake again.

“Homie got a lot of issues he got to address. I’ma leave it right there,” Ross said. “Is it any potential of him being a real n***a? He gotta decide that.”

Ross also described Drake’s situation as “unfortunate.”

He was further asked about his previous collaborations with Drake and if he was still proud of the music that they made together.

“I’m a real n***a and being a real n***a, you never change your past,” he responded. “The music I’ve created in the past, I could never change. I enjoyed it and I’ma still enjoy it.”

The 50-year-old also touched on being in a limbo about his fans’ reaction to Drake’s verse when one of their songs was played. He said that he urges the audience to sing Drake’s part. A previous video showed Ross, on a lighter note, saying, “We gonna let Drake sing a little,” when he was performing Aston Martin Music. Drake later responded to the video with laughing emojis.

Besides Aston Martin Music, Ross and Drake have collaborated on other songs, including Stay Schemin’, Lord Knows, and Money in the Grave. But the pair had a falling out after Kendrick Lamar dissed Drake on the Like That song. Drake also seemingly took issue with Future, The Weeknd, and Metro Boomin after the release of that song.

Ross then claimed that Drake subsequently sent fellow rapper French Montana a cease and desist over the Splash Brothers song.

Ross touching on his beef with Drake came after he previously said that he was open to reconciling with his former collaborator if he sent him a bottle of champagne, Complex reported.

“If a n***a send me a bottle Luc Belaire, especially the white one… That go for any of these young n****s out here,” he said. “Send me a white Belaire bottle, I’ll take a picture with you. ‘Cause that white Belaire bottle… Know what I’m saying?”
