Lexie Brown responds after she’s rumored to be linked to Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s breakup
WNBA star Lexie Brown took to social media to make it known that she has nothing to do with Klay Thompson and Megan Thee Stallion’s breakup.
Per Complex, the Seattle Storm star’s response came after online speculation linked her to their breakup. That was after Megan claimed that Thompson had cheated on her.
“I’ve seen what’s being said online, and I want to be clear, none of it is true, and I have no involvement in this situation,” Brown, 31, shared on her Instagram Story.
Brown further stated that she was fully focused on the new WNBA season. “This week marks the start of an important and exciting new season for me, and my focus is fully on that,” she added.
Megan, 31, and Thompson, 36, made the news over the weekend after the rapper took to social media to accuse the Dallas Mavericks star of cheating on her.
“Cheating, had me around your whole family playing house, got ‘cold feet’,” Megan shared on her Instagram Story on Saturday. “Holding you down through all your HORRIBLE mood swings and treatment towards me during your basketball season now you don’t know if you can be ‘monogamous????’”

The Savage rapper also provided further details about her decision to break up with Thompson in a statement that her representative sent to Complex.
“I’ve made the decision to end my relationship with Klay. Trust, fidelity and respect are non-negotiable for me in a relationship, and when those values are compromised, there’s no real path forward. I’m taking this time to prioritize myself and move ahead with peace and clarity,” the statement said.
Following the announcement of their breakup, WNBA star Angel Reese shared words of support to Megan. “It’s the way you show up even while carrying so much,” Reese wrote. “That’s what makes you THAT girl.”
Reese also made Megan known that she’ll “always have a little sister riding for you at dawn. I love you, sister.”
