PHILADELPHIA, United States — Jamaica College won their third High School Boys 4x100m Championships of Americas title after running 40.03 seconds in cold weather on Saturday’s final day of the 130th Penn Relays Carnival at Franklin Field in Philadelphia.

Makaeean Woods replaced Malique Dennis, who had led the team in Friday’s preliminaries, and along with Nathaniel Martin, Elijah Smeikle and Kai Kelly, extended Jamaica’s dominance in the event to 20 straight wins, dating back to 2005.

Kingston College was second with 40.26 seconds and St James Academy, the only American team in the race, was third in 40.38 seconds.

St Jago High was fourth with 40.43 seconds, Edwin Allen High was next with 40.51 seconds, followed by Excelsior High with 40.60 seconds, Wolmers Boys with 41.68 seconds, Petersfield High with 41.77 seconds and St Mary High with 42.37 seconds.
