Through rare, intimate behind‑the‑scenes interviews, the author honours two towering figures of Gambian football, Alhagie Biri Njie and Alhagie O.B. Conateh, both of blessed memory. Their stories, wisdom, and legacy are preserved with the reverence they deserve.

The book is lovingly dedicated to two men who shaped the author’s worldview:

• Honourable Femi Peters, his late father and former Ambassador to Sierra Leone, Liberia, and Ivory Coast.
• Dr. Baba Jallow, who penned the foreword and was the first to publish the author’s writing in a newspaper short‑story column back in 1995.
