Girl Power – Jamaica Observer

In an industry severely impacted by Hurricane Melissa, affecting both employees and clients alike, what Sagicor Group Jamaica achieved in 2025 was not just impressive — it was defining.

Last Wednesday’s annual Sagicor Group Corporate Awards, held at the Jamaica Pegasus hotel, showcased a more glamorous side of the organisation. Known for elevating its celebrations with creative themes — whether inspired by iconic eras or curated colour palettes — the organisers once again delivered an event that felt fun, fresh, and ever-so-stylish under the banner “One Caribbean – Where Legends Rise”.

The theme proved especially fitting as the company sets its sights on integrating Sagicor Group Jamaica and Sagicor Life Inc into Sagicor Group Caribbean. Beyond recognising employees whose performance and impact have elevated the Group, the event also continued the awards’ tradition of a striking dress code, this time guided by shimmering metallic island hues.

Hundreds arrived early for the highly anticipated red-carpet experience, capturing shareable moments at a custom-designed photo area. Many of those photographed are considered “Sagicor celebrities”— individuals who have earned that distinction over time through exceptional performance in an environment that consistently rewards excellence.
