Trump supporter Nicki Minaj will be a guest at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner
Avid Trump supporter Nicki Minaj will be a guest at this year’s White House Correspondents’ Dinner in Washington, D.C.
Per Page Six, the event, which is also known as the “nerd prom,” will take place on Saturday, and Minaj, 43, will be attending as a guest for Fox News. Before the dinner, the network will host a VIP cocktail party at the Washington Hilton, which the likes of Minaj and Turning Point USA’s Erika Kirk will also attend.
President Trump will grace this year’s dinner after boycotting the event for over 10 years.
There have been multiple instances where Minaj has openly expressed her support for the Trump administration. In one of those instances, the Super Bass rapper took to social media to propagate a Trump administration claim that Christians were being persecuted in Nigeria.
Minaj also made an appearance at a Turning Point USA event hosted by Charlie Kirk’s widow, Erika Kirk. At the event, she showered praises on Trump and Vice President JD Vance, referring to the latter as “the assassin.” Erika, however, did not take issue with the word Minaj used. Erika’s husband was assassinated during a question-and-answer session with students while at a Turning Point USA event at Utah Valley University on September 10, 2025.

While delivering a speech at a “Trump Accounts Summit” session in January, Minaj reaffirmed her unwavering support for Trump, saying that she was “probably” the president’s number one fan, Variety reported.
Besides that, Minaj, who immigrated to the United States from Trinidad and Tobago, claimed that Trump, 79, was being subjected to bullying, and a “smear campaign” had been waged against him.
“Well, I don’t know what to say,” Minaj said after initially holding Trump’s hands as they walked toward the podium, “but I will say that I am probably the president’s no. 1 fan. And that’s not going to change.
“And the hate with what people have to say, it does not affect me, at all,” the rapper added. “It actually motivates me to support him more. And it’s gonna motivate all of us to support him more. We’re not going to let them get away with bullying him. The smear campaigns, it’s not going to work. He has a lot of force behind him, and God is protecting him. Amen?”
Minaj left the stage shortly afterwards, with Trump telling her that “we did pretty well with your community.” His comment was probably in reference to Black Trump supporters.
