KINGSTON, Jamaica — Reggae Boyz Joel Latibeaudiere and Ephron Mason-Clark could be plying their trade in the English Premier League next season after their club Coventry City secured automatic promotion from the Championships after a 1-1 draw against Blackburn Rovers on Friday.
The point took the Frank Lampard- coached Coventry City to 86 points and clinched the Championships title and returned to the Premier League after an absence of 25 years, last playing in the top division in the 2000-01 season.
Both Latibeaudiere and Mason-Clark started on Friday but were subbed off late in the second half.
Coventry had some close calls in the last few seasons, losing in the play-offs in two of the last three seasons, but left nothing to chance this time, winning the Championships with three games to be played.
