MANCHESTER, Jamaica — Police are at the scene of a homicide in Three Chains, Manchester where a soldier is accused of killing his female partner on Friday.

The woman has so far been identified only as “Tania”.

Neighbours told Observer Online that shortly after 3:00 pm they heard screams before seeing a man running from a house.

Police responded to the scene in search of a suspect said to be the woman’s partner.

Senior police sources said the accused man subsequently turned himself in.
